Montreal Canadiens defenseman Noah Dobson (groin) is set to rejoin the lineup on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. Dobson was hurt in an exhibition game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sept. 25 but has recovered from a groin injury in time to feature in Montreal's preseason finale. He is projected to skate with Jayden Struble. Dobson's recent seasons have been inconsistent, but a new beginning in Montreal might reinvigorate the 25-year-old rearguard. Just two seasons ago, Dobson scored a massive 70 points (10 goals, 60 assists) in 79 games. While it's unlikely he'll reach the same heights again, if he stays healthy, Dobson should be able to notch 50-plus points in 2025-26.--Taavi Pailk
