Brock Bowers Day-to-Day with Recovery Going Slow
Brock Bowers (knee) is day-to-day, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Bowers is dealing with a bone bruise and PCL injury, and while the team had hoped a few extra days of rest would help, that wasn't the case. Carroll noted that, as kickoff drew near, it became clear that Bowers wouldn't be able to play in Sunday's game. At the moment, it's uncertain whether the star tight end will be ready for Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans. While Las Vegas presumably won't rush him back, they'd like to get Bowers on the field sooner rather than later. The team is incredibly short-staffed at tight end with Bowers and Michael Mayer (concussion) out, which left them with Albert Okwuegbunam and Ian Thomas as their top tight ends this past Sunday against Indianapolis.
