Indianapolis Colts wide receiver
Laquon Treadwell caught all six of his targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 41-14 preseason win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Treadwell got the start and played throughout the first half, doing most of his damage on a 59-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. The former first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings is looking to survive final cuts after not appearing in any regular-season games in 2024 but he would not have a significant role on the Colts' offense even if he makes the team.

DJ Giddens carried the ball six times for 22 yards in a 41-14 preseason win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Giddens got the start and played throughout the first quarter before calling it a day in the blowout win. The rookie running back has been competing to be the primary backup to
Jonathan Taylor throughout camp and has a good chance at earning that role after
Tyler Goodson and
Khalil Herbert have both been sidelined by injuries. If Giddens does earn that role, he would be a strong late-round choice in fantasy drafts as a handcuff to Taylor, who has dealt with multiple injuries over the years.

Laquon Treadwell for a 59-yard touchdown in the second quarter. The Colts used a sixth-round pick on the former Notre Dame QB in this past NFL draft and he appears likely to open the year as the team's third quarterback behind
Daniel Jones and
Anthony Richardson Sr. The Colts will now begin preparing for Week 1 and the Miami Dolphins.

David Njoku caught both of his targets for 20 yards in a 19-17 preseason win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Njoku got his first action of the preseason, catching a pair of balls from starter
Joe Flacco in the team's final tune-up before they prepare to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. Njoku remains a rock-solid mid-range TE1 in fantasy leagues and should be a safe selection heading into drafts.

Harold Fannin Jr. caught both of his targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in a 19-17 preseason win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Fannin played throughout the first quarter in tandem with
David Njoku and caught
Joe Flacco's lone touchdown toss, a 15-yarder with 6:33 left in the first. The rookie tight end was lined up as a wide receiver on the play, showing his versatility as the Browns have been trying to capitalize on his pass-catching skills. Fannin is unlikely to have a huge role from a fantasy perspective this season but he remains an intriguing dynasty prospect moving forward. He will now turn his attention toward the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1.

Dillon Gabriel completed 12 of his 19 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown in a 19-17 preseason victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Gabriel took over for
Joe Flacco early in the second quarter and looked good, finding
Gage Larvadain for a three-yard touchdown completion at the end of the quarter. The rookie has been battling with
Shedeur Sanders for the backup QB role behind Flacco throughout camp. Gabriel easily outplayed Sanders on Saturday as the latter only converted one first down on his five drives, all of which resulted in a punt. Gabriel is likely to be the team's backup to Flacco when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1.

Joe Flacco completed nine of his 10 passes for 71 yards and a touchdown in a 19-17 preseason win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Flacco got the start and played into the second quarter, finding tight end
Harold Fannin Jr. for a 15-yard touchdown midway through the first quarter. Making his only appearance of the preseason, Flacco has already been named the Browns' starting quarterback heading into Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He settles in as a high-end QB3 in fantasy heading into drafts as the Cleveland offense is not expected to be very explosive this season.

Shedeur Sanders completed three of his six passes for 14 yards in a 19-17 preseason win over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday. Sanders played five series in the second half of the game and was unable to move the ball as each of his five drives ended in a Cleveland punt. He took five sacks with the Browns only picking up one first down with Sanders under center. It was a rough audition for Sanders, who was soundly outplayed by fellow rookie
Dillon Gabriel in the preseason finale. The Browns could carry four quarterbacks on their final roster, but Sanders appears to be behind Gabriel as the team now turns their attention to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1.

Tanner Mordecai (leg) split time with
Carter Bradley (leg) under center in the 49ers' 30-23 win over the Chargers on Saturday. Mordecai didn't get the start but turned in a superior line, going 10-for-13 for 103 yards and a touchdown in his time on the field. The 25-year-old looked solid until he came up limping on a failed QB sneak in the fourth quarter, leading to a turnover on downs on the next play when he struggled to simply complete the handoff to running back Ke'shawn Vaughn. The 49ers are committed to
Brock Purdy (to the tune of a $265 million contract signed in May) and brought in
Mac Jones to serve as his direct backup. Mordecai, who was waived and re-signed by the Niners twice during the preseason, will be lucky to survive the cuts necessary for the final 53-man roster to take shape.

Demarcus Robinson found the end zone to put the first points on the board for the 49ers in their 30-23 victory over the Chargers on Sunday. The 30-year-old veteran reeled in a 22-yard pass from quarterback
Tanner Mordecai to open up the second quarter of the preseason finale. Robinson finishes the preseason with seven receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown. Robinson will start his tenth NFL season serving a three-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy in the offseason. When he returns to action, he will be in the mix as San Francisco's third wide receiver behind
Jauan Jennings (calf) and
Ricky Pearsall, at least until
Brandon Aiyuk (knee) can take the field. Robinson may eventually prove himself to be a worthy flex streamer, but fantasy managers can avoid him in their upcoming drafts.

Terique Owens contributed to the 49ers' 30-23 win over the Chargers on Saturday with a 22-yard touchdown reception. It was his only catch of the game and just his second of the preseason. Owens, son of former 49er and five-time All-Pro Terrell Owens, was signed by the team as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2024 but was injured in the preseason and, after recovering, spent the season on the practice squad. The 25-year-old has been buried on the preseason depth chart, and his prospects worsened with the acquisition of
Skyy Moore earlier this week. Even with the injuries to some of the other players in San Francisco's wide receiver room, it would be a surprise if Owens sticks around after the team finalizes its 53-man roster on August 26.

Jeff Wilson Jr. scored a touchdown for the 49ers in their 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. It was the second consecutive week that the veteran back found the end zone. Wilson also led the team in carries and rushing yards, toting the rock 11 times for 41 yards on the ground. With
Christian McCaffrey as the team's unquestioned lead back and
Brian Robinson Jr. joining the 49ers via trade on August 21, Wilson is jockeying for position at the back end of the depth chart more than anything else. His odds for making the final 53-man roster may be aided by the fact that
Isaac Guerendo (shoulder) was favoring the injured shoulder that kept him out of the Niners' first two preseason games. Wherever Wilson settles in on the roster, he will not be a fantasy asset in the immediate future.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback
Taylor Heinicke had another underwhelming performance in the Chargers' final preseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers, completing only three passes for 31 yards. The 32-year-old has had a disappointing preseason overall, completing only 43.8% of his passes and finishing with just seven completions for 64 yards and no touchdowns. Heinicke has looked timid and robotic in his play this preseason, and his unimpressive numbers have dropped him to third-string quarterback on the Chargers' unofficial depth chart, behind
Justin Herbert and
Trey Lance.
