2 years agoThe Green Bay Packers are waiting for quarterback Aaron Rodgers to make a decision on his playing future, and asking for a trade and retirement are options. The Packers are respecting Rodgers' need for time to make his decision, and they are open to working with the four-time MVP on a trade if that's what he requests, according to sources. Green Bay would need the 39-year-old to rework his contract to facilitate any trade for salary cap purposes. Other teams have already inquired about Rodgers, but they must wait until he makes a decision on his future. If Rodgers wants to continue with the Packers, the team will welcome him back. The relationship between the Packers and the Rodgers remains positive 11 months after they signed him to a big extension. Rodgers had one of his worst seasons in 2022, but he also dealt with a fractured right thumb and a rib injury along the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
