Noah Fant 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Signs with the Bengals, A Borderline TE2 in an Explosive Offense
Noah Fant during the offseason and signed with the Bengals on July 31. Elijah Arroyo, a tight end from the University of Miami, was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. That was surprisingly good draft capital. Arroyo is a talented athlete, and considering that Seattle's starting quarterback, Sam Darnold, is a better deep than intermediate thrower, Arroyo and he could make a connection quickly. Fant has always been an afterthought in Seattle's offense, filling in a well-defined but minimal role, and even with less competition biting at his heels, he hasn't been fantasy relevant. There's little reason to expect that to change. Darnold is a downgrade at the quarterback position from last year's QB, Geno Smith. And new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak will implement a very run-heavy scheme, essentially the opposite of Ryan Grubb's 2024 offense in Seattle. It's hard to see the upside case with Fant. He's a low-tier bench stash in dynasty leagues in case of emergency. Update 8/2/2025: Fant signed with the Bengals at the end of July and will now pair up with Mike Gesicki as Cincinnati's top TE options. Fant's fantasy value gets a slight uptick as now he's part of an explosive offense but will be stuck in a timeshare with Gesicki, making him a borderline TE2 at best.
