Mikael Granlund is back with the Nashville Predators after signing a four-year pact worth $5 million AAV on Wednesday. Granlund is an interesting case because the Predators traded for him at the 2019 NHL Trade Deadline. He produced a handful of points then had just 30 points in 63 games during the 2019-20 season. Granlund was given a one-year show-me contract for $3.75 million. The center produced 27 points in 51 games but had five points in six playoff games. He played 19:28 a game this year so Nashville must have seen something. Granlund has some special teams value and is a good depth option at center for fantasy teams. He may never get back to that 2016-2018 form from Minnesota.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
