Michael Brantley Adds Two Hits In Game 2 Defeat
5 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the Astros 12-3 loss to the Nationals in Game 2 of the World Series. Brantley scored on Alex Bregman's two-run home run in the first inning but the Astros offense was held down after that. After a slow start, the veteran hitter has been sharp over the past two weeks. Over his last nine postseason games, Brantley is 12-for-34 (.352) with four runs scored. Brantley will need to perform facing a 2-0 deficit when the Astros take on the Nationals in Washington on Friday.
