Matthew Golden Not Expected to Play on Monday Night
Green Bay Packers rookie first-round wide receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder), who was listed as questionable to play on Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, is not expected to play, a source tells Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Golden was pushing to go, but the Packers will rely on others to step up in the passing game without him. Green Bay will also be missing tight end Tucker Kraft (knee), who suffered a season-ending torn ACL last week. The 22-year-old Golden was unable to practice with the team on Friday or Saturday. His next chance to return will come in Week 11 against the New York Giants on the road. Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Savion Williams (foot) are also listed as questionable for Monday night, so Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and Malik Heath could operate as the Packers' top three receivers against Philly, with tight end Luke Musgrave also seeing an expanded role.
