He recorded three receptions for 33 yards with a long of 27. The Seahawks struggled to get their offense going throughout the game, and Valdes-Scantling was not immune to the struggles. Valdes-Scantling's participation in the game was puzzling. It could signal that he is fourth or lower on Seattle's wide receiver depth chart. He was unlikely to be a main contributor in fantasy football given his record primarily as a role player throughout his career. The development suggests that rookie wide receiver Tory Horton could be on his way to a substantial role in the offense. Horton is an interesting sleeper and dynasty candidate.
