Carolina Hurricanes center Mark Jankowski recorded two assists in Saturday's series-tying 3-2 overtime win against the Montreal Canadiens. Jankowski is better known for doing the dirty work on his team, but he stepped up offensively this time. Just 2:33 into the game, Eric Robinson scored off a feed from Jankowski, and his second helper came when Nikolaj Ehlers potted the game-winner at the 3:29 mark in overtime. In his previous nine postseason appearances this year, Jankowski had produced only one assist. He has gone goalless with seven SOG. Jankowski is unlikely to repeat his performance in Monday's Game 3, as he's had points in back-to-back games only three times this season.--Taavi Pailk
