The Philadelphia Eagles have signed undrafted free agent offensive lineman Marcus Tate to a three-year, $2.96 million contract. Tate appeared in 42 games (37 starts) at Clemson and spent time at left guard and both left and right tackle. In 2021, he became the third true freshman offensive lineman in Clemson history to start the season's first game and was a second-team All-ACC selection in 2024. He's one of just 28 Tigers in history to play over 2,500 career snaps. Tate is currently slotted in at guard on the team's unofficial depth chart behind teammates Tyler Steen and Matt Pryor. Injuries held the Florida native back during his college career, but a four-year starter with good size is another brilliant addition for a savvy Eagles squad.--Alex Ciulla
