Marcus Smart Fills Stat Sheet In Start
Marcus Smart was all over the board during Friday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with 12 points, seven assists, three rebounds and three steals, even adding a pair of triples as he drew the start in place of the injured Jaylen Brown. While he didn’t see the same 40-minute workload as his last time out, Smart’s second start of the season showed that he’s a must-roster player when Brown is absent from the rotation. That makes him primarily a DFS play for now, but it’s worth monitoring to see if this stretch can’t earn Smart some more playing time in the long run.
