Luis Robert Jr.'s Season Over Due To MCL Sprain
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. (knee) will miss the rest of the 2023 regular season due to a mild MCL sprain in his left knee that will put him on the injured list. The White Sox are bringing up Tyler Naquin from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Fantasy managers that invested in Robert at a relatively low cost have to be thrilled at how his season turned out in 2023. The 26-year-old Cuban managed to play in over 100 games for the first time in his career and slashed .264/.315/.542 with an .857 OPS and career-highs in home runs (38), doubles (36), RBI (80), stolen bases (20) and runs scored (90) in 145 total games and 595 plate appearances.
