Lions Non-Committal On Amon-Ra St. Brown's Week 5 Status
1 year agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell didn't offer any insight on Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown's (undisclosed) injury, but he was non-committal on whether he'll play in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers. St. Brown missed practice on Tuesday, although he was running full speed with trainers on the side. We should have a better idea of St. Brown's status once the Lions release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday after the 24-year-old caught five passes for 56 yards and a touchdown last Thursday in the win over the Green Bay Packers. If he is out or limited at all this Sunday, Josh Reynolds would likely operate as the No. 1 pass-catcher, with Kalif Raymond, Marvin Jones Jr. and rookie tight end Sam LaPorta all taking on bigger roles as well.
