Kyle Pitts' Injury Not Believed To Be Long-Term
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said that tight end Kyle Pitts (hamstring) isn't expected to be out long term after being ruled out for the Week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pitts woke up more sore than usual in the days following the Week 4 loss to the Cleveland Browns, and he wasn't able to practice at all this week. It sounds like the Falcons are just being smart with him so that the hamstring injury doesn't turn into a lingering issue. We'll have to see if the 22-year-old will be able to return in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. With Pitts out this Sunday, Parker Hesse and Anthony Firkser will battle for targets at the tight end position. Neither are viable streaming options in fantasy.
