KJ Hamler Injures Knee In Win Over Jets
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler (knee) injured his left knee in the first half of the 26-0 Week 3 win over the New York Jets on Sunday and didn't return in the second half. Hamler wasn't putting much weight on his leg when he left for the locker room, so he could be looking at missed time, pending an MRI exam on Monday. Before his injury, he caught one of his three targets for a 28-yard gain. The 22-year-old saw only three targets last week as well, and his volume hadn't really increased in the wake of the Jerry Jeudy (ankle) injury. With Hamler possibly looking at an extended absence, he's certainly not worth rostering in standard 12-team leagues for the time being. If Hamler misses any time, Diontae Spencer could see more snaps behind Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick.
