Kirill Marchenko Out Monday
Columbus Blue Jackets right wing Kirill Marchenko (upper body) has been ruled out for Monday's encounter with the Washington Capitals. He left the morning skate with an injury and won't be in the Blue Jackets lineup for the first time this season. Despite going scoreless in the past three games, Marchenko leads Columbus with 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists) in 22 games. With him out, Yegor Chinakhov will get an opportunity to impress on the first line. Chinakhov has recorded only four points (two goals, two assists) in 16 games. However, his ice time has been limited to 10:08 per game. He has the ability to make a big impact with increased usage.
