Jorge Soler Blasts 37th Home Run
5 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler ripped a liner over the left field wall in the bottom of the first on Thursday to draw within one of the club's single-season record. Soler's 37th home run of the season pushed him up to 95 RBI as well, and he tacked on another later in the game. Soler has been one of the brightest spots for a bad Royals team, and he's carried them in the power department. Only one other player on the roster has topped 20 home runs this year. Soler is under contract for another two years with Kansas City, and it looks like he's going to rake in the middle of that lineup.
