Colorado was buried under an avalanche of third-period goals in a 5-3 loss to Chicago on Saturday night. Center Jonathan Toews led the way with three points. He now has nine points in six games as he works to jumpstart his modest offensive season. Patrick Kane recorded two points and now has 10 points in five games. He’s on pace for 100 points again this season as the 31-year-old winger continues to defy normal aging curves. Freshman forward Dominik Kubalik scored for the second game in a row. He now has 10 goals in 35 games. Colorado forward Matt Calvert had two goals in the losing effort which broke a four-game scoreless streak. Tyson Jost had two assists to give him his first points in 10 games. Breakout defender Ryan Graves had a goal and an assist. He’s skillfully mixed his physical game with strong defense and offense. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
