Colorado Avalanche left wing Joel Kiviranta (lower body) will rejoin the lineup on Wednesday against the Chicago Blackhawks. He will take over Jimmy Vesey's spot. The Finnish forward has been unavailable for three games due to a lower-body injury. Despite having a limited role on the Colorado team, Kiviranta has made a significant impact in 2024-25, scoring 16 goals and producing seven assists in 72 contests. He had a four-game goal streak last month, which included an even-strength tally in a 3-0 victory over the Blackhawks. Colorado will slot Kiviranta back into the third line, with Charlie Coyle and Ross Colton joining him.--Taavi Pailk
