Joe Mack Homers in Fourth Straight Game
Joe Mack went just 1-for-4 on Tuesday for Triple-A Jacksonville, but his lone hit was a big one, a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning. The Marlins' third-ranked prospect has now homered in four straight games and five of his last seven, bringing his season total to 20. The 22-year-old now owns a .256/.336/.474 slash line with a .360 wOBA and 119 wRC+ in 106 games this year (93 at Triple-A, 13 at Double-A). The 22-year-old is trending toward a major league debut next year, and with some good power, he could be intriguing for fantasy, however, the Marlins also have plenty of young depth right now at the position, with both Agustin Ramirez and Liam Hicks handling duties behind the plate. So, Mack would have to somehow find regular at-bats when he gets there to make himself fantasy relevant.
