St. Louis Blues right wing Jimmy Snuggerud will make his NHL debut in Tuesday's matchup against the Detroit Red Wings. The 20-year-old forward, a first-round pick in the 2022 NHL draft, signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Blues last Friday. He has just completed a prolific collegiate career with the University of Minnesota, producing 135 points (66 goals, 69 assists) in 119 NCAA appearances. Snuggerud, who bagged 51 points (24 goals, 27 assists) in 40 games this season, is among 10 candidates for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, presented annually to the top NCAA men's hockey player. The Blues are set to use Snuggerud in a third-line role on Tuesday, pairing him with Oskar Sundqvist and Zack Bolduc. He will also slot into the second power-play unit, giving him extra fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk
