Jeremy Swayman Posts First Shutout of the Season
Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman recorded his first shutout of the season on Tuesday, finishing a 3-0 victory over the Detroit Red Wings with 24 saves. After dropping four consecutive starts in late December, Swayman now finds himself on a 4-1-0 run. He has won back-to-back starts and can aim for his second three-game winning streak of the season. Boston faces the Seattle Kraken in its next game on Thursday. Swayman improved to 18-11-2 for the season on Tuesday night. He has a 2.79 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.
