Jeff Wilson Jr. Scores In Return To 49ers
Jeff Wilson Jr. scored the 49ers' lone touchdown in the team's 22-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. It was Wilson's first game back with his former team after having spent the last three seasons with the Dolphins. The 29-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Niners earlier this week after Ameer Abdullah (ribs) was placed on injured reserve. Wilson finished the game with just 16 yards on the ground, but his eight rushing attempts were second-most on the team. He also had another 16 yards on his sole reception of the game. Wilson will have one more chance to jockey for placement on the depth chart before the regular season. The 49ers' final preseason game is August 23 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
