4 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jed Lowrie (knee), who played nine games last September because of knee issues, worked out with his knee brace tucked underneath his uniform on Friday. It sounds like he's in no better position than when spring training was shut down in March. The Mets are unsure if Lowrie will be full-go for baseball activities over the next three weeks, but he did take part in infield practice on Friday. The 36-year-old switch-hitter continues to deal with complications from his surgically repaired left knee, and it's anyone's guess as to how much he'll be able to contribute in 2020.
