Jazz Chisholm Jr. "Real Close To A Return"
4 months agoNew York Yankees infielder/outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (elbow) is "real close to a return" from the 10-day injured list, according to manager Aaron Boone. Initially, the Yankees were unsure if Chisholm would even be able to return this year due to a UCL injury in his left elbow that potentially needed surgery. However, Chisholm has bounced back nicely since then and even took batting practice at Yankee Stadium before Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. The 26-year-old is eligible to come off the IL on Saturday. Even if he doesn't come back on the first day he's eligible, fantasy managers have to be stoked that he should return soon. Chisholm should return to regular duties at third in the Bronx after hitting .316 (18-for-57) with seven homers, 11 RBI and five steals in his first 14 games with the team.
