Los Angeles Chargers running back Jaret Patterson was called up from the practice squad and made an immediate impact, leading the backfield with 44 yards on nine carries (4.9 YPC) in last week's win over the Tennessee Titans. Although he outperformed Kimani Vidal in efficiency, Vidal remains the primary back. Additionally, Patterson is not heavily involved in the passing game, which limits his weekly floor. He continues to serve as a change-of-pace option, and while he is seeing more snaps, the Pittsburgh Steelers present a tough matchup on the ground. With Hassan Haskins (hamstring) and Omarion Hampton (ankle) on IR until after the Week 12 bye, Patterson is a potential stash for managers in deep leagues, but he should stay on the bench for Week 10.--Don Fanelli
