Jaren Hall Ruled Out With Concussion
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of the Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Hall took a big hit in the first quarter on a rushing attempt in which he was stopped just short of the goal line. He was slow to get up and was checked for a concussion before being ruled out. Before leaving his first career NFL start, the 25-year-old went 5-for-6 for 78 passing yards and had two carries for 11 additional yards. Hall was making the start after Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Joshua Dobbs, who was recently acquired in a trade from the Arizona Cardinals, will take over under center for the rest of the day and could be Minnesota's starting signal-caller for the rest of 2023.
