The Seattle Kraken has been active on Wednesday as they announced the signing of Jaden Schwartz. He inked a five-year contract with an AAV of $5.5 million. Schwartz had an injury-riddled 2021 campaign with just eight goals and 21 points in 40 games. He was a huge part of the St. Louis Blues' 2019 Stanley Cup run. When healthy, the winger produces around 60 points a season and is a constant threat on the man advantage. Just two seasons ago, Schwartz had nine power-play goals and 20 man-advantage points alone. He expects to be the top left-winger in Seattle and play almost 19 minutes a night for the Kraken come October. Schwartz could go lower than usual in fantasy drafts this year and carry sneaky upside. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
