George Springer Back In Action For Sunday's Game
George Springer (ankle) is set to return to action for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. He will be in his usual leadoff spot for the game and he will be playing designated hitter with Raimel Tapia in center field. Springer suffered a mild ankle sprain during Friday's game. He wound up exiting the game and he was held out of action on Saturday. Springer is off to a great start to the 2022 season, slashing .278/.338/.522 with seven home runs, 18 RBI and 21 runs over 32 games.
