Franklin Arias Enjoying Solid Debut Season at High-A
Franklin Arias has enjoyed a solid debut campaign at High-A. The 19-year-old began the season at the Low-A level but needed only 19 games with Slem to prove he was ready to join Greenville. Through his first 85 games at the High-A level, the top-ranked prospect in the Boston system has looked relatively comfortable, posting a .265/.327/.383 line with 21 doubles, six home runs, and seven stolen bases. Over his last 13 contests, the No. 33-ranked prospect in the sport (according to MLB.com), has posted a .757 OPS and has only gone hitless three times over this stretch. While he remains several seasons away from his MLB debut, Arias is a name to keep a close eye on as he continues to progress through the Boston system.
