Eli Stowers Breaks Draft Combine Tight End Vertical Jump Record
Vanderbilt University tight end Eli Stowers set the all-time NFL Draft combine vertical jump record at his position by leaping 45.5 inches. Stowers also led all tight ends in the broad jump with a mark of 11'3". Stowers, who will turn 23 years old in April, began his college career as a quarterback at Texas A&M. After a brief stop at New Mexico State in 2023, Stowers finished his career with two productive pass-catching seasons at Vanderbilt. Across 12 games with the Commodores in 2025, he hauled in 62 receptions for 769 yards and four touchdowns. Stowers projects as a likely day two selection in the upcoming NFL Draft. He may not land in a fantasy-relevant role as a rookie, but Stowers' dynasty value should be marginally improved by his impressive athletic testing at the combine.
