Eduardo Rodriguez's Market Moving Quickly
1 year agoFree-agent left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez's market is moving quickly this offseason, and he could reach a decision during the winter meetings this week before two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani picks his next team. Rodriguez is in Nashville, Tennessee, at the winter meetings this week and has had multiple in-person meetings with interested teams. The 30-year-old southpaw became a free agent when he opted out of his contract with the Detroit Tigers, despite blocking a trade in August to go to the Los Angeles Dodgers. E-Rod surely has plenty of suitors this winter after posting a strong 3.30 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 143 strikeouts over 152 2/3 innings in Detroit in 2023. If he moves to a contending team, he'll be even more attractive to fantasy managers in 2024 and beyond.
