New Jersey Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton (lower body) has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season. He will be out for a fourth consecutive game on Thursday against the Edmonton Oilers. Hamilton could be an option for the Devils in the playoffs if the team makes it past the first round. Jonas Siegenthaler (lower body) has also been ruled out for the remainder of the season, so New Jersey's backline has taken a couple of really bad blows recently. Luke Hughes has taken over from Hamilton on the first power-play unit and will look to keep up his recent good form on Thursday. Over the past four games, he has tallied five points (one goal, four assists).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
