1 year agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (ribs) is "going to make it through the week, he'll be alright," but the team "will take care of him" while he deals with sore ribs, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Metcalf might miss some practice time this week as the team looks to give him some rest after he took a hard shot to his ribs in the Week 2 overtime win over the Detroit Lions. The stud wideout still played 83% of the offensive snaps on Sunday and caught all six of his targets for 75 yards, although he was unable to find paydirt for the second straight week. The 25-year-old should be able to suit up in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers and remains a must-start in fantasy lineups as long as he's on the field.
