The Pittsburgh Steelers are bracing for safety DeShon Elliott (knee) to miss the rest of the season, sources told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Elliott's ACL is intact, and he's working through the nature of his leg injury, but it's considered unlikely that he'll be able to return in 2025. It's a tough blow to a Steelers defense that hasn't quite been the same this year, especially in back-to-back losses to the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers. The 28-year-old Elliott recorded 38 tackles (20 solo), a sack, one interception, and a forced fumble in his five games played for Pittsburgh in his second year in the Steel City. With Elliott now sidelined for the foreseeable future, expect Chuck Clark to serve as a starter in the Steelers' secondary moving forward.--Keith Hernandez
