De'Aaron Fox Goes Off For 38 Points In Playoff Debut
2 years agoSacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox went off for a game-high 38 points in his playoff debut against Golden State on Saturday. Domantas Sabonis might have scored the first playoff points in 17 years for the Kings, but it was Fox and Malik Monk who led the offense, combining for 70 points in a 126-123 victory. They are the second duo ever to score 30 points with both making their playoff debut, following Alonzo Mourning and Kendall Gill in 1993 with Charlotte. Fox delivered his line with 13-for-27 shooting, hitting half of his eight attempts from deep. His night also included one rebound, five assists and three steals. The Kings looked great, even with Sabonis shooting only 5-for-17 from the field, and the Warriors definitely have their work cut out to avoid a first-round exit.
