Cutter Gauthier Erupts for Four Points Against Panthers
Anaheim Ducks left wing Cutter Gauthier produced a special performance in Tuesday's clash against the Florida Panthers, posting four points in a 7-3 victory. He tallied his first career hat trick and delivered one assist, becoming the seventh player in Ducks history with a four-point game at age 21 or younger. Gauthier potted two goals on the power play. Following a slow start to the season, Gauthier has recorded a seven-game point streak and has managed multiple points in each of his past three outings. He's tied for the most goals in the league with 10 and is Anaheim's second-leading scorer with 16 points in 12 games. Only Paul Kariya has had a longer multi-point streak at 21 or younger with the Ducks (six games), and Gauthier will hope to extend his run to four contests on Thursday versus the Dallas Stars.
