Courtland Sutton Scores Second TD To Close Out The Year
2 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton finished out a disappointing season the right way on Sunday when he caught just his second touchdown of the season in the 31-28 victory over the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers in the Week 18 regular season finale. Sutton finished with three receptions on a team-high seven targets for 33 yards and the score. The 27-year-old finishes his fifth NFL season with 64 catches on 109 targets for 829 yards and two TDs in 14 games. There wasn't much upside to be had for Sutton and the rest of Denver's offensive skill players as quarterback Russell Wilson struggled mightily in his first year with the team. They'll go back to the drawing board this offseason under a new head coach, so hopefully Wilson and Sutton will be able to rebound in 2023. Along with Jerry Jeudy, Sutton will be a top target once again and could be a nice value pick in fantasy drafts.
