Connor McDavid Racks Up Five Points In Victory Over Philadelphia
11 months agoEdmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid had a five-point outing in Tuesday's 5-2 victory over the Flyers. The Oilers captain started the night at the office with his 14th goal of the season, and he went on to add four assists to his tally. With his 10th career five-point game, McDavid tied Paul Coffey for the third-most such outings in franchise history. Only Wayne Gretzky (79) and Jari Kurri (14) have had more. He's already the leader in five-point games among active players. McDavid, whose work on Tuesday included his 900th career point, is again in outstanding form and has notched 53 points in 33 appearances this season. 43 of them have come across his last 22 outings.
