Former Oklahoma State linebacker Collin Oliver has signed a four-year, $4.6 million deal with the Green Bay Packers. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news. The Oklahoma City native was chosen with the No. 159 overall pick in April's draft. Oliver didn't miss a game throughout his first three seasons as a Cowboy and started all 14 games as a Junior, notching 73 tackles, six sacks, 15.5 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles. However, he'd start just two games in 2024 after suffering a right foot injury. He spent only two years at linebacker in college, as he converted from defensive end after his first two campaigns, so there's some pass-rush intrigue here, as he recorded 11.5 sacks in 14 games in his true freshman season (one start). Oliver lacks the length and size to handle edge duties full time, but he could be an impact rotational player if he puts his foot issues behind him.--Alex CiullaRead More News
