Cody Bellinger Trending In The Right Direction
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger (leg), who has been out since April 6 with a hairline fracture on his left fibula, is "trending in the right direction," according to manager Dave Roberts. Bellinger is scheduled to head to the team's alternate training site in Arizona to continue his rehab on Thursday. He has been taking batting practice almost every day, and the pain in his leg has subsided. The lefty slugger went through a 40 percent body-weight running drill and came out of it feeling good. Bellinger will consistently get live at-bats once he's in Arizona. Until he returns, the Dodgers will continue to use Mookie Betts and Chris Taylor in center field. It could still be a while before fantasy managers have the former MVP back in their lineups, however. Stay patient.
