Chris Buescher enjoyed a brilliant run on Saturday night and nearly won the Coke Zero Sugar 400. It was thought that he finished second right behind fellow Ford driver Ryan Blaney. Then, there was the post-race inspection. It turned out the Track Bar Mounting Assembly had something amiss by fractions of an inch. That violation disqualified Buescher and pushed him to 40th (the rear of the field). Buescher needed the win to make the playoff and nearly pulled it off. In the end, it did not matter. Buescher led eight laps on Saturday in what was his best driving performance of the season.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
