Chris Archer Exits Saturday’s Start Early With Hip Discomfort
Chris Archer (hip) exited Saturday's 7-2 win over the Detroit Tigers with left hip discomfort. He allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk while striking out two over four innings before exiting. The 32-year-old did not factor into the decision. The severity of his injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Archer owns a 4.66 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts over 19 1/3 innings in 2021. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation and hope Archer can return to the mound soon. Stay tuned.
