Chris Archer A Major Trade Asset But Currently A Rays Ace
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer is being named in trade rumors every few days lately. He has four years left of club control and has a team-friendly contract. However, until he is traded, we will treat him as a member of Tampa Bay. He has pitched over 200 innings each of the past three seasons and has struck out at least 233 batters in each season. The troubling part is that his ERA has been just over 4 the last two seasons and his win-loss record has been 19-31 those two seasons. He has the potential of an ace and if he is traded to a top contender, his value could go even higher. He is a high SP2 or a low SP1 currently.
