The Kansas City Chiefs released cornerback Robert Rochell on Monday to free up a roster spot that could be used on a tryout player during rookie minicamp or a veteran free agent. The Chiefs also recently inked 16 undrafted rookie free agents in addition to their 2025 draft class. The 27-year-old Rochell ends up being a roster casualty this offseason and will now look to latch on with another organization before training camp this summer. The former fourth-round selection (130th overall) by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 out of Central Arkansas did not play in any games in 2025 and has just 25 tackles (22 solo), an interception and three fumble recoveries in his four NFL seasons with the Rams and Green Bay Packers. Rochell had signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs back in March.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
