Bryan Woo Exits Early Saturday Due To Hamstring Pain
5 months agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Bryan Woo left Saturday's matchup against the White Sox with a 3-1 lead after throwing just 70 pitches due to some discomfort he felt in his right hamstring, which is the one that put him on the IL last month. Despite the early exit, manager Scott Servais stated that Woo is still expected to make his next start, which would come at home next Friday against the Phillies. Injuries have marred Woo's 2024 campaign, as he's made just 11 starts for Seattle, but when he's been able to pitch, the righty has been effective. The 24-year-old has a 2.35 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 6:37 BB:K over 53.2 innings pitched.
