Colorado Avalanche forward Brandon Saad registered a goal and an assist to lead his team to a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night. In addition to figuring into all three Avalanche goals, the 28-year-old also posted a plus-two rating and two shots in 15:17 of ice time in the contest. Previously mired in a slump in which he failed to record a point in eight of his past nine games, Saad looked considerably more dangerous offensively on Friday. Saad is having a fine first season in Colorado (seven goals, six assists, 29 shots in 20 games) but fantasy owners would like to see a bit more consistency out of the speedy winger before adding him.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
