1 year agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (quadriceps) is back in center field and in his customary leadoff spot on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles and right-hander Dean Kremer. Nimmo missed the last three games this week due to tightness in his quadriceps muscle, but it wasn't considered very serious and he's back in there now. The 30-year-old has been cold at the plate since the All-Star break, but he should remain a strong source of on-base percentage and runs for fantasy managers while also providing the occasional home run. Nimmo is currently slashing .256/.353/.431 with 15 home runs, 47 RBI, three stolen bases and 61 runs scored through 399 at-bats in 2023.
