Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Brandon Kintzler (pectoral) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. He felt discomfort in his pec while pitching against the Oakland Athletics on Monday. Manager Joe Maddon doesn't believe the injury is too serious, so hopefully he'll only be sidelined for the 10 days. Kintzler has been one of the better relief options for the Cubs this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
